It’s so important to get the kids as well as yourself away from the use of technology!  I’ll just come out and say it, the mismanagement of technology in our homes are damaging our kids.  Here is some help to take a stand and turn off the tv, tablet or cellphone.   50 Screen-Free Spring Activities For Kids is sure to have your kids laughing and you too!

A new report from Common Sense Media found that children 8 and younger now spend more time on mobile screens — around 48 minutes a day — than they do reading or being read to, which on average is about 30 minutes a day.
Almost all children 8 and younger, 98%, live in a home with some type of mobile device and the same percentage have a TV in the home, according to the report.
Nearly half of children 8 and younger, 49%, watch TV or play video games in the hour before bedtime and 42% of parents say the TV is on “always” or “most of the time” in the home, according to the report.
Let’s take a critical look at our own homes and see exactly how many hours our children are spending in front of a screen.  Just this one step could transform your home!
