Homemade Peaceful Tea Recipe

Taking tea breaks throughout my day is a sacred daily routine for me.   It’s an intentional choice to slow down and usually includes a snack as well.  Since I also love to garden, making herbal teas is a real joy!  Weather permitting, I have my daily tea time outside in the Secret Garden with my children.  I am excited to share with you my Homemade Peaceful Tea Recipe!

One of the ingredients in Homemade Peaceful Tea is Chamomile, which is a natural remedy for a wide range of health issues. The nutrients it contains may help manage diabetes, menstrual pain, sleep problems, and yes, even calm the body. Licorice root also has potential health benefits, stemming from its bioactive compounds like glycyrrhizin, which have anti-inflammatory and potential digestive-supporting properties.

This delightful recipe is gluten-free, sugar-free, grain-free, and nut-free.

Homemade Peaceful Tea Recipe

Ingredients

1 cup organic licorice root 

1 cup organic chamomile flowers

1/4 cup spearmint or apple mint leaves 

2 TBS cardamom seeds (make sure the seeds are removed from the pods and bruised in a mortar and pestle)

1 TBS cinnamon 

1 TBS organic lavender flowers

1 pk 0.028oz  stevia leaf 

DIRECTIONS 

1. Dump all the ingredients into a stainless steel mixing bowl.  Mix gently.
2. Pour into a canning jar with a lid and label.  You can also store this tea in a glass freezer container. 
3. Put 1 tsp. of the Peaceful Tea into a tea diffuser and steep for 2 to 5 minutes.

In closing, let me be clear, this tea will help you experience calm but peace is directly linked to a saving relationship with Jesus Christ. And the effect of righteousness will be peace, and the result of righteousness, quietness and trust forever. Isaiah 32:17.  Righteousness in Jesus = PEACE.
