My grandfather worked on The Sound of Music movie as a film colorist, so the classic feel-good feature holds a special place in my heart and the heart of my children. Actually, who doesn’t love The Sound of Music?
I have been getting many comments and questions on Social Media asking for products I love and endorse. I thought it would be fun to name this post A Few of My Favorite Things after the song in The Sound of Music and I have even included a smashing white dress! (Minus, the blue satin sashes.)

FAITH

FAMILY
I challenged my kids to pick a board game that they loved when they were kids and still love today. Clue won with Sorry in a close second. When everyone is available, Friday night is still Family Game Night, with one exception, my husband I no longer participate. It’s just our kids’ ages 28-18!
HEALTH
One of the best investments I have made! I love my Bubba! I have had this Vacuum-Insulated Stainless Steel Straw Tumbler, 24 oz mug for several years. It makes it easier to keep track of my daily water intake. I find that I keep hydrated much better when using a straw.
HOME

My very favorite anti-aging eye cream ever! This thing works! I also find it helpful to apply first thing in the morning to reduce a puffy face!
FASHION
This lovely white Judith dress by Boden is utterly charming! Boden has long been a family favorite, we have dresses, blouses, bathing suits all from the trendy British Company. I like them for a variety of reasons. They are not part of the fast fashion industry, they have modest fashion choices, the company employs a strict fair trade, ethically and sustainably sourced policy. Yeah, Boden!
GARDEN
I love this Chicago Hardy Fig Tree with Fruit! This plant does not come in the beautiful terracotta pot and it is not this size. I’m dreaming of fresh figs this Summer!
FOOD
Yes, I am addicted to these crackers by Simple Mills!!! The Farmhouse Cheddar is my favorite! Amazon is the cheapest place to get these three flavors of crackers, but for the Fine Ground Sea Salt Cracker, you can get the large box for half the price! Regrettably, Costco only carries the one flavor.
