Fear is a part of life.  I thought it would be helpful for me and for you to have 26 Bible Verses For When You Are Afraid available in a printable format that can be stowed in your purse or posted next to your bed.

There are different kinds of fear.  For example, we know that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.  That is a good kind of fear. The fear that comes when you approach a dangerous situation is good as well.  It keeps you safe. However, the fear we are addressing today is the fear that keeps you from trusting God. It prohibits you from finding joy and from obeying God.  It is a destructive kind of fear.

My prayer for each one of us is that we will lay the things we are afraid of at the foot of the cross.  Abandon sinful fear and walk in the light of God’s Word. I pray we will experience the joy that can only come about through our relationship with Christ.
