Did you know that God mentions the topic of money 140 times in the King James Version of the Bible?  If we include the words gold, silver, wealth, riches, inheritance, debt, poverty, and related topics the number would increase exponentially.  It turns out that God has a lot to say about money and our relationship to it and our faith.  I am excited to share Bible Verses To Encourage A Healthy Relationship With Money today!  God’s Word is always beneficial and leads to life-giving habits.

In order to have a healthy relationship with money, we must acknowledge this simple yet profound truth.  God owns everything.  What we consider our money is actually His money.  This leads truth leads to another critical question we must ask ourselves.  How does God want us to use, spend, and give?

 

 

Bible Verses To Encourage A Healthy Relationship With Money

 

Psalm 24:1

The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof, the world and those who dwell therein,

 

Deuteronomy 10:14

Behold, to the Lord your God belong heaven and the heaven of heavens, the earth with all that is in it.

 

Leviticus 25:2

The land shall not be sold in perpetuity, for the land is mine. For you are strangers and sojourners with me.

 

1 Chronicles 29:11-12

Yours, O Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, for all that is in the heavens and in the earth is yours. Yours is the kingdom, O Lord, and you are exalted as head above all. Both riches and honor come from you, and you rule overall. In your hand are power and might, and in your hand, it is to make great and to give strength to all.

 

Job 41:11

Who has first given to me, that I should repay him?  Whatever is under the whole heaven is mine.
