As the year, nears its end, you might need a rest and reset. The Christmas season is considered the most stressful time of the year and it should not be that way. We miss the wonder of Jesus Christ coming to earth in His amazing incarnation when we choose busy over slow. Here are some gentle prompts…A Christ-Centered Slow Living Christmas To-Do List.
The words to the hymn O Holy Night, (which is probably my favorite Christmas song ever) talk about the weariness we experience because of sin! “Long lay the world in sin and error pining, ‘Til He appears and the soul felt its worth, A thrill of hope the weary world rejoices, For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn.” Weariness does not need to be our constant companion because we have forgiveness in Jesus. We can choose to live another way!
