I have had this recipe for almost 20 years!  That is hard to believe, it was given to me by my friend Melissa and our family has been enjoying these crispy gluten-free French fries ever since. I don’t think I have ever met a person that does not like fries.  Have you?  Who doesn’t like a good fry?

One of my favorite things about these French fries is that they are baked and not fried and they still taste amazing!  I also like that there is turmeric in the seasoning of these tasty fries which makes them VERY HEALTHY!

This is a wonderful recipe to make with children.  You do the cutting and they can shake the French fries in the bag.

  1. I don’t keep turmeric in my spice cabinet because nothing I ever cook calls for it. I know it’s like asking what does a banana taste like to ask what it tastes like, but I’ll ask, what does it add to the other seasonings? I make oven fries too, but always use just salt and pepper.

    1. Turmeric adds a bit of a kick…not spicy but not bland…ok, I am having trouble describing it! On a side note Turmeric is an anti-inflammatory. I take it daily in pill form. I get it from Lee Silsby Pharmacy in Cleveland. It is called Enhansa.
