This project for a Fall Tablescape and DIY Wooden Orbs is quick and easy!  Basically, the only projects I do use what I have on hand and are quick and easy.  We found this idea on Pinterest, of course!  Have I told you how much I LOVE Pinterest?

A big shout out to AKA Designs + Life Blog who came up with this lovely idea!   Please check out their amazingly creative site.

Since we use what we have on hand to make our projects we changed the original directions.  I want to give a big thank you to my daughter Carrie Grace who put together the project.

How to Make DIY Wooden Orbs

Supplies

1.  Two embroidery hoops of the same size. We used two 6 ” hoops for one orb and 4″ hoops for the smaller size but whatever size you would like to use is fine.

2.   Brown liquid shoe polish.

FIRST

Stain the embroidery hoops with the shoe polish and let dry. We did 2 coats for a darker look.

SECOND

Take the 2 inside pieces of your embroidery hoops and evenly space them while they overlap.  After overlapping the 2 hoops add the third hoop and fasten.

THIRD

Take the 4th hoop and fasten it around the 3 other hoops tightly.

DONE!

I hope you will enjoy doing this easy project with your kids and in the process beautify your home!
