One of the nicest things about blogging is that you get to do product reviews or in this case restaurant reviews. I am so excited to present to you The Peaceful Haven’s Review of Gluten-Free at the Cheesecake Factory!
When evaluating a product or a place I want to look at things objectively and yet critically so that I can inform my readers. I don’t work for the companies that I review. I work for you! I only post excellence. I may be asked to review something but it may not make it to The Peaceful Haven Blog because it was good but not praiseworthy.
It is so nice to have dining options available that are not just adequate. For my daughter’s 15th birthday, I took her and a friend to The Cheesecake Factory for a celebration dinner and also to evaluate the gluten-free options available. Of the three of us attending Sarah’s birthday, two of us have Celiac Disease and one is Gluten Intolerant.
With our forks in hand, this is what we ordered…
The Americana Cheeseburger: American and Cheddar Cheese, Crunchy Potato Crisps, Lettuce, Tomato, Grilled Onions, Pickles and Secret Sauce.
Four Cheese Pasta: Penne Pasta, Mozzarella, Ricotta, Romano and Parmesan Cheeses, Marinara Sauce, and Fresh Basil. Also served with Chicken.
Pasta Carbonara: Spaghettini with Smoked Bacon, Green Peas, and a Garlic-Parmesan Cream Sauce. Available with Chicken.
*The items on the menu that could be made gluten-free were clearly marked with the G.F. symbol.
Now for the fun part, we LOVED our whole gluten-free experience at The Cheesecake Factory! The service was exceptional. Before writing this post I asked around to see if anyone in my area had ever had a bad experience at The Cheesecake Factory. Everyone raved about the service. I find that service is hard to evaluate because it depends on the staff at a particular location. That said, our staff was excellent.
There were gluten-free options in every section of the menu. Thank you very much! The three dishes we devoured were superb, actually, mouth-watering would be a better description. One of the times our attentive waitress checked in with us to see how we were doing my daughter exclaimed, ” This is the best cheeseburger I have ever had!”. Now, it is worth noting that my daughter is quite enthusiastic but nonetheless she felt this truth with all her heart.
The pasta dishes were delish! My stomach is grumbling while I am writing this review and I am finding myself wondering if it would be possible for me to duplicate The Cheesecake Factory’s Chicken Pasta Carbonara recipe. (Check my gluten-free recipes in a few weeks.) I savored every bite and highly recommend this gluten-free pasta dish to you.
Now, on to the Godiva Chocolate Cheesecake which is gluten-free! The pieces were huge and then there are actually three layers of this creamy cheesecake. The real whipped cream only added to its delectable taste. One of the layers is of crisp Godiva chocolate, really all I can utter is YUM!
Lastly, I would like to thank The Cheesecake Factory for the wonderful service and food we received…you helped to make my daughter’s birthday extra special!
Blessings,
