Allergies and holidays…Grrrr! Never fear, here is the Complete Gluten-Free Easter Menu, all the work is done for you!
Holidays are supposed to enjoyable, happy and meaningful. When you have food allergies it can be anything but. The potential for accidentally ingesting something you are allergic to is always on your mind. If you have to cook for family members that have allergies it can be even harder! I have taken all the work and worry out of menu planning and am excited to present a Complete Gluten-Free Easter Menu. There are also recipe adaptations for grain-free, sugar-free and dairy-free allergies.
I rarely eat pork but for the record, I love to have ham on Easter. It is a tradition that I don’t want to give up just because I have Celiac Disease and can not eat gluten. You would think that purchasing meat would be easy because in its natural state meat is gluten-free. However, many companies inject their meat with broth that has gluten in it as well as other unhealthy ingredients. I am only able to recommend two ham companies that have gluten-free hams that are also not loaded with a sugar glaze.
I glaze my ham with honey. Brushing on a new layer of honey every half hour. It tastes amazing! Ham made this way is Gluten-Free, Grain-Free, Sugar-Free, and Dairy Free.
I love this recipe for Creamy Heavenly Crockpot Scalloped Potatoes! This recipe is my own and I love the simpleness of this dish. I also like these creamy potatoes because oven space can be short on holidays and these are made in a slow cooker. Did I mention the taste? This is the most requested recipe at The Peaceful Haven! Yes, they are that good. This recipe is Gluten Free, Grain Free, and Sugar-Free.

One of my all-time favorite blogs is Against All Grain. I am pleased to share with you this delicious and refreshing recipe from Danielle. Watermelon Salad with Arugula, Goat Cheese, and Candied Walnuts! All I ever say about recipes from Against all Grain is YUM!
This is such a good recipe from Southern Living and it just happens to be gluten-free, grain-free and dairy-free. It can be made sugar free by substituting the 1/2 cup of sugar in this recipe with 1/4 cup of honey. My family loves this one and I like it because it is easy and economical!
Every family has traditions and my family is no different. One of the things that remains the same is to have fresh asparagus on Easter. It also just happens to be my favorite vegetable so I may be a little biased, on this one. I have made asparagus multiple ways over the years but I really like this recipe for roasted asparagus. It is easy and quick which are two of my favorite things.
This is a delicious recipe for Squash-Rice Casserole with many possible adaptations. The recipe link is NOT a gluten-free recipe. Please make sure you substitute gluten-free Italian Bread Crumbs and make sure your Chicken Broth is gluten-free! Another adaptation to make this recipe grain-free is to substitute the rice with Cauliflower Rice. Enjoy!
This is my Mom’s recipe for Grain Free Tapioca Rolls. Yep, they actually taste and look great!! I was trying my best to come up with my own recipe for Paleo Rolls. My Mom formulated this winner in just one attempt…I don’t know how she does it?
Ina Garten isn’t famous for nothing! The Barefoot Contessa herself formulated this “to die for” Gluten-Free Chocolate Cake. I am having trouble focusing and may just have to take a break from blogging and go make this scrumptious, mouth-watering cake right now and then make it again for Easter! I don’t think you can go wrong with this recipe…
This recipe for Heavenly Gluten-Free Strawberry Meringues is great for holidays because the meringues can be made ahead and the strawberries also prepared ahead of time. They are delicious and would make a wonderful grain-free option for Easter!
Happy Allergy Free Easter!
Blessings,
I have a gluten-free family coming over for Easter. Thank you for the menu and recipes. You saved me!
Enjoy! I love each of these recipes, so good!
This really solved my problem, thank you!
I am so happy to have been of help!
