I love a good DIY, don’t you? The best homemaking projects are made from things you have on hand and are more effective than the storebought variety. My Homemade Non-Toxic Cuticle Cream fits the bill and performs better than the chemical-laden products I have used in the past! Today, why not pause and make this simple project that will enhance your health.
 
Cold weather and gardening in the warmer months are tough on skin and cuticles.  My hands could be a trouble spot in caring for my finger-nails, however, this soothing cuticle cream rehydrates my hands. body.  I love that this essential oil cuticle cream can also be used on hands and lips!
 
 

Homemade Non-Toxic Cuticle Cream

 
Ingredients
2 tablespoons shea butter
1 teaspoon beeswax
7 drops Lavender oil
*optional 1 drop Myrrh oil 
 
 
DIRECTIONS 
  1. Combine the shea butter, beeswax, and Fractionated Coconut oil in a small glass container.
  2. Place in saucepan with 1–1 ½ inches of boiling water.
  3. Stir ingredients for 5–10 minutes until combined.
  4. Once melted, remove from the heat and let it rest for 3 minutes.
  5. Add the essential oils and stir.
  6. Pour into a container and let harden for 2–3 hours.
  7. Just apply a small amount to cuticles and rub until absorbed. (Or slather it all over your hands too!)
