How to make comfrey tea? It is so EASY you are going to wonder why you didn’t make it sooner. To clarify, the comfrey tea that I am talking about is the comfrey tea for your plants and not you. Creating natural organic fertilizer is of critical importance in growing healthy plants. All you need are two ingredients. Yep…that’s it!
Comfrey is a common name for plants in the genus Symphytum. Comfrey species are important herbs in organic gardening. It is used as a fertilizer and as herbal medicine. Comfrey contains many vitamins and nutrients such as Vitamin B12, potassium, sulfur, calcium, iron, phosphorus, Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin B-complex, selenium, iron, germanium, and mucilaginous fiber. It is also an excellent source of protein. It contains compounds called Mucilage and Allantoin, which are responsible for its anti-inflammatory properties as well as making it a wonderful garden fertilizer.
Today, we are going to talk about how to use comfrey in the garden as a natural organic fertilizer.
You can use the comfrey leaves as a fertilizer by adding it to the compost pile, laying the leaves on the garden soil, and letting it naturally decompose and by making comfrey tea.
