Have you ever wondered, how to make the PERFECT pot of herbal tea? The British have taken tea making to a new level and it is now an art form. I am excited to share with you this fail-proof method. The most important variable in tea making is to start with quality ingredients. Organic herbs and filtered purified water. That is where the perfect pot of herbal tea starts.
Why herbal tea?
Here are just a few of the health benefits of herbal tea…
- Chamomile Tea Its antioxidants may help prevent complications from diabetes, like loss of vision and nerve and kidney damage, and stunt the growth of cancer cells.
- Peppermint Tea Has been used for thousands of years to sort out a variety of digestive and gastrointestinal conditions. Peppermint tea is considered a carminative, meaning that it helps to move gas through the body as it accumulates, rather than causing bloating, cramping, and stomach and intestinal pain.
- Hibiscus Tea It has been found in a recent study, that drinking three cups of hibiscus tea daily lowered blood pressure in people with modestly elevated levels.
- Rooibos Tea A wonderfully flavorful herb that is fermented, adding to its health benefits.

How To Make The Perfect Pot of Herbal Tea
WHAT YOU NEED
teapot
teakettle
tea strainer
organic dried or fresh herbs
filtered purified water
tea cozy or tea towel
DIRECTIONS
STEP 1: Using purified filtered water fill up your tea kettle. (The amount of water will depend on the size of the teapot.) Bring the water to a boil.
STEP 2: Pour a cup of boiling water into the teapot and let sit for 5 minutes until the teapot is warmed. Fill up the teapot with the rest of the boiling water.
STEP 3: If your teapot comes with a Stainless Steel Tea Strainer attachment fill the strainer with the appropriate amount of herbs. Please see the chart below. If your teapot does not have a tea strainer never fear you can use a Cup Tea Strainer, which will catch the brewed tea leaves when it is poured out.
STEP 4: Cover your teapot with a tea cozy or a tea towel and let the tea steep. For a stronger brew steep longer than the suggestions below.
