Murder, Racism, Genocide, Persecution, Sexual Abuse, Pandemic, Natural Disasters, Identity, Personal Rights. It all seems too much. There is so much pain. When people are suffering they do weird things and my words are not enough to combat the evils of this world, to speak the truth, to comfort, and heal. Only God, only His words are truth. Only His words bring healing comfort and all people need that.
Quite frankly, I’m finding the world’s words noisy. We live in a time that says opinions are true. The way to happiness is to follow your heart and that being a biblical woman isn’t enough or valuable but rather harmful and to have a different worldview must mean you hate all people that don’t believe the same as you.
My heart feels broken as I see people do what’s right in their own eyes and bring disaster on their heads. Yet, my heart is filled with compassion as I know that but for the grace of God, I was once in that place. Jesus brings hope and wholeness and His Word is truth.
I invite you to turn off the noise of the world for a few minutes and listen to the very Word of God…
My Words Are Not Enough But His Are
Psalm 105:3

Psalm 32:9-10
1 Peter 1: 20&21
Psalm 37:24-26

Let’s join in prayer, soak in these words, and make a difference in the world today!
Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name.
Your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who have trespassed against us.
Lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
Thanks for sharing this!
You are very welcome, Phyllis!
