How I long for Summer in the cold days of winter and then when it gets here I struggle to find meaningful activities for my kids! Am I alone? I don’t think so. Here is the much-asked-for list of, 50 Screen-Free Summer Activities For Kids. These recipes for family fun are all tested by my very own kids. It is my sincerest wish that you have as much fun with your family this summer as we have had with our kids over the years!
Excessive screen usage can lead to problems in social-emotional development, including obesity, sleep disturbances, depression, and anxiety. It also inhibits a child’s ability to observe and experience typical everyday activities they need to participate in, to learn about the world around them. Essentially too much screen time stunts growth.
