Ah, the elusive soft-boiled egg!  No more worries, I am here to teach you how to make the Perfect Soft Boiled Egg.

In recent days the news has been plastered with yet another gap in our educational system, the lack of basic life skills in young adults.  How to soft boil an egg is my attempt to encourage young people (and old) to try learning a basic skill.  Cooking is an art form but it is also a basic skill all people must have to live.  It is critical to one’s health and cooking your own meals saves you tons of money!

A soft-boiled egg is loaded with high-quality proteins, vitamins, minerals, good fats, and various trace nutrients. A large egg contains 77 calories, with 5 grams of fat and 6 grams of protein with all 9 essential amino acids. Rich in iron, phosphorous, selenium, and vitamins A, B12, B2, and B5 (among others).

Add a fruit or vegetable with a toast to this deliciously simple meal and you have something healthy, nutritious, and delicious!
