I have Celiac Disease and I have passed it onto all 4 of my daughters, how do you like that for genetics?  For that reason, I am excited to share with you Soothing the Symptoms of Celiac Disease!

Celiac disease is an autoimmune disorder that can occur in genetically predisposed people where the ingestion of gluten leads to damage in the small intestine.  It is estimated to affect 1 in 100 people worldwide.  Two and one-half million Americans are undiagnosed and are at risk for long-term health complications. I am very grateful to have been diagnosed with Celiac Disease.  Does that sound weird?  Well, I am still happy and thankful to know what ails me and to be able to fix the problem.  That is a gift!

From time to time I still ingest gluten.  (NOT ON PURPOSE!)  Even with labeling as good as it is, I still occasionally eat hidden gluten or a product that has had some cross-contamination with gluten.  Oh, and then I am miserable!  I will not go into all the gory details.  When this occurs it can cause BIG problems to deal with.  I may be out shopping or with family or friends, embarrassing is all I can say!

What’s a girl to do?

I have finally found a soothing solution and its called DigestZen!

Soothing The Symptoms of Celiac Disease

DigestZen is an essential oil blend and a wonderful companion to aid in the digestion of food, soothe occasional upset stomachs, and reduce uncomfortable gas.  It can be taken internally or used topically.  I don’t know how it works, but the results are immediate for me.  I am so thankful to have something effective that I can carry with me at all times!

When I have a Celiac attack I am able to halt diarrhea when I place the DigestZen essential oil on my hands and rub it onto my abdomen directly above (on) my intestines.  I also take a DigestZen soft gel. It stops my diarrhea!!  I have also used it the other way for constipation. How can I say this delicately, it makes things move.

  1. I’m very curious about this blend. I have both issues and would love to resolve them with a rub of some oils. I have so many of these individual oils, but I hesitate to mix unless I’m sure I have the right ratio.

    1. Hi Barbara!
It was great to talk with you yesterday. The first ingredient in DigestZen is ginger rhizome root, then peppermint, caraway seed, coriander, anise seed, tarragon and fennel seed. You might do just fine combining the oils to make your own blend. If you want me to bring you a sample just let me know. I LOVE this oil but I will warn you…”You will stink to high heaven”:)

      1. I can’t stand the smell of coriander — I can’t use coriander in cooking, but I love cilantro. I’m so odd. I guess my fear is that I won’t be able to use the blend because of the coriander.

  2. I would mix my own blend of equal parts of the other oils and use that if coriander bothers you.

  3. Thanks for your help, can’t wait to try this!
