Delicious and versatile,  that’s what you get with this recipe for The BEST Gluten-Free Meatballs!

I like this recipe because it can be used for any recipe calling for meatballs.  Make a huge batch and freeze for use in future meals.   This is also a great recipe to get the kids involved with.

Did I mention this recipe is healthy?

Yes, if you use grass-fed beef you will increase your nutritional benefits in the following ways.  Did you know that grass-fed beef is a good source of omega 3 fatty acids, which can help reduce inflammation?  The amount of fat found in grass-fed beef is significantly lower than conventional beef and one of the most prominent nutrients found in grass-fed beef is conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) which fights cancer.

 

 

The BEST Gluten-Free Meatballs

Makes 40ish meatballs

 

Ingredients 

3 pounds of grass-fed, pasture-raised ground beef.

3 eggs

1/4 cup potato starch flour

1/4 cup almond flour or tiger nut flour

1 TBS. Italian seasoning

1 tsp. garlic powder

1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes

1 tsp. parsley

1 /2 tsp. basil

1/2 tsp. sea salt

1/2 tsp. pepper

 

DIRECTIONS

1. Combine all the ingredients into a large mixing bowl and mix on low speed until all the ingredients are well incorporated.

2. Use a cookie scoop to make the meatballs into a round ball.  Place meatballs on a rimmed cookie sheet or jelly roll pan.

3. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

 

NOTE:  If you are going to freeze the meatballs, let them cool completely before placing them into freezer bags.
