A few years ago we found ourselves in a financial crisis (job loss) that necessitated a Zero Budget Christmas.  The financial crisis gave us an opportunity to really think about and pray for the people who we give gifts to.  We prayed and asked God what He thought each person would like.  It ended up being one of our best Christmases ever.

It took a lot of planning, creativity, and free printables from generous bloggers to pull it off but we did it!  Each one of our six children received three Christmas presents, extended family, and even my husband and myself were gifted unique and meaningful presents.

God is our provider

Just last week I spoke to a friend who is in the same position we were in just three years ago.  I am sure many other families are approaching the Christmas season with the same concerns.  How am I supposed to give gifts when I have no money?  The answer is that with prayer all things are possible.  I will tell you one thing, it is much easier to have a Christ-centered Christmas when you have no money to spend.

The following Zero Budget Christmas List is filled with creative DIY ideas, FREE online printables, and other FREEBIES for everyone on your gift list.  They won’t all work for each family,  an item is only FREE if you have the things on hand to do the projects, however, it is my hope that you will find enough ideas here to piece together a beautiful Christmas!
